Ayahuasca attracts people for a variety of reasons, and we all come at a different place in our growth and healing. Some come to add depth to their spiritual lives. Others have a sense of being blocked or stuck in life, somehow limited and hope to move beyond that. Others are looking for freedom from depression and anxiety, or to be freed from the trauma and conditioning of a troubled childhood. Even those whose life is good and simply want to move it to a higher level can benefit from an ayahuasca retreat.
Recognizing this diversity, the Hummingbird has a variety of programs to help you get the most from your time with ayahuasca. Our curandero Don Manain has over 45 years of experience.
A couple considerations on choosing a length of stay. Many people do get what they are looking for in a 9 day retreat. For others, the extra two ceremonies in the 12 day retreat make all the difference in their results. The 12 day ayahuasca retreat also allows flexibility with dosing and sitting out a ceremony, without being stressed about running out of time.
All our retreats also include a ceremony with San Pedro, the sacred cactus medicine of the Andes.

Our 7-day retreat offers a concentrated week of healing and learning. Guided by traditional curanderos, you'll meet the medicine in a gentle, well-held way: clear intentions, dieta-friendly meals, and thoughtful preparation before each ceremony. Many guests experience this week as a powerful reset.
You'll participate in three ayahuasca ceremonies and one San Pedro (Huachuma) ceremony. Sharing circles, breath and meditation practices, and one-on-one support help you integrate what arises and bring the lessons home.
